Group sales and net profit of Boral, Ltd., for the December half-year were equivalent t> those of the previous corresponding period, directors say.
“Losses have continued in the completion of existing contracts for the construction of roads in North Queensland, but no further contract will be entered into on the present basis,” they say. “Hebburn Pty,, Ltd., also continued to incur losses on its operations for the six months.
“However, the increased rate of production now being achieved indicates a better than break-even position.
