SECOND CONCERT CANCELLED
Th Gale Garnett Show, presented in the Civic Theatre last evening was z to have been presented again in Christchurch on March 15. The second concert has now been cancelled.
New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation officials this week cancelled concerts in Wellington and Lower Hutt, planned for March 8 and 9 after reviewing bookings and attendance at a Wellington appearance last Saturday. The N.Z.B.C. representative touring with the show (Mr J. Reidy) refused last evening to comment on the latest cancellation. The rest of the South Island performances will continue as scheduled.
