Builders’ Leader

Mr R. D. Baigent. of Lower Hutt, who was elected president of the New Zealand Master Builders' Federation. at the annual conference in Tauranga. He is a director of Hanson and Baigent Bros.. Ltd., a prominent firm of building contractors which has been responsible for some of the major buildings in Wellington and Hutt Valley in recent years. Mr Baigent is a member of the executive of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation, and is secretary-gen-i eral of the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors' Associations, which will hold a convention in Wellington in February, 1967.
