MASON BROS. PROPOSAL
Higher Capital; Note Issue (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 9. Directors of Mason Bros., Ltd., Auckland-based engineering firm, have announced an extraordinary general meeting, to be held on April 26. This will be to consider increasing nominal capital from £lm to £l.sm; and the issue of 400,000 61 per cent registered unsecured notes of 10s each. These notes will be issued at par in the ratio of one for four ordinary shares, or one for two A preference shares held at April 26. Authority will also be sought to issue 10,300 of the notes to selected staff members. Shares are ex rights to notes on April 27.
