Decline Goes On In Sydney
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, March 9. The Sydney stock market continued to lose ground over the last week with the share price index falling by 9.36 points to 311.48, according to the weekly market report. Total average daily turn-over was about 944,000, taking in an average daily mining turn-over of about 113,400. The high turn-over was mainly because of the increased activity in Amalgamated Chemicals in which approximately 1,105,000 shares were traded over the last week.
