Stockings For Short Shirts
One of the hazards of very short skirts is the possibility of showing the stocking welt when sitting down, says the fashion writer, Marie Stoddard.
To meet the new demand. Prestige has produced a new stocking called Daddy Long Legs, which has a much shallower top. The over-all length of the stocking has not been changed, so there are no suspender problems. The makers claim that a woman wearing these stockings with a very short skirt can sit cross-legged gracefully without showing suspenders or stocking welt. The stockings have nude heels and demi-nude toes to suit the latest open style footwear. For extra durability they are reinforced under the foot.
