Officials To Have Talks (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Two prominent Australian cricket officials arrived in Auckland last evening. They are Mr E. G. Macmillan and Mr A. R. Barnes, Chairman and secretary respectively of the Australian Board of Control. “We have come to see how the game is played in this country, to meet your officials,

to see who is running the game and to discuss matters of mutual interest,” said Mr Macmillan.

Mr Macmillan and Mr Barnes said that Australia was very keen to send a strong second eleven to New Zealand next season.
