To Retire
fJV.Z. Press Assuctauun> N. PLYMOUTH. March 9. Mr E. P. Aderman, National Party member of Parliament for the New Plymouth electorate for almost 23 years, last night announced that he would not contest the seat at the General Election this year, according to the Press Association. Mr Adennan first won the New Plymouth seat in September, 1943, when he was 49. He has held it continuously since, winning eight successive elections. He will be 72 this year.
