Heritage Graves
<N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 9. So long as Heritage did its job, it could always look for substantial grants from the J. R. McKenzie trust, the chairman of the trust board Sir John Hott, told today’s annual meeting of heritage. He said that over the years grants amounting to between £30,000 and £40,000 had been made by the trust to the movement. “Our activities would have been greatly curtailed without the assistance of the trust,” said the president of heritage (Mr C. M. Greenslade). Officers elected todav included:—President, Mr R. H. Beaumont; vice - presidents, the Prime Minister (Mr Hblyoake); the president of the R.S.A. (Mr Hamilton Mitchell), and the chiefs of staff of the Navy, Army, and Air Force.
