Counselling Seminar
A staff member of the Cairnmiller Institute, Melbourne, Dr. Francis Macnab, would conduct a two-day seminar in counselling in Christchurch during May, the Rev. C. A. Mitchell, told the monthly meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery. The seminar would be concerned with helping people in a mixed-up world. One part of the seminar would be aimed at clergy and deaconesses, and the other at the layman, Mr Mitchell said. It was hoped to have sessions for the clergy and deaconesses during the day with the meetings held on a National Council of Churches I basis, and the sessions for the layman held in the evening to allow the attendance of any interested church members and professional people such as doctors, who are concerned with all types of! counselling.
