Mystery Meeting
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 8. The executive of the Federation of Labour spent more than three hours and a half with the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) and the Minister of Finance (Mr Lake) last night. The unannounced meeting began in the Prime Minister’s office at 7.30 p.m. and broke up soon after II p.m. Neither the Prime Minister nor the president of the F.O.L. (Mr T. E. Skinner) would disclose the subject of discussion. Mr Holyoake said: “We discussed matters of mutual interest.”
