HIGH FLIGHT.—Two members of the Canterbury Gliding Club found gliding conditions exhilarating on Sunday between the Rakaia and the Waimakariri rivers. This photograph, taken by Mr S. H. Georgeson from a sailplane, shows Mr D. F. Westenra flying another sailplane over part of the Torlesse range. The two pilots spent four hours in the area.
