6 Weeks To Acclimatise

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) ALBURQUERQUE (New Mexico). Atheletes participating in the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City should train for six weeks in high altitudes, medical experts said yesterday. The recommendation was made at an international conference on the effects of altitude on physical performance. The conference was held in conjunction with the National Amateur Athletic Union indoor track and field meeting last week-end.
