Newsletter For Youth

From next May the Canterbury Regional Youth Council would send a monthly newsletter to the 15 youth organisations represented on it, a meeting of the council decided last evening. Containing news about youth activities and bodies on provincial, national and international levels, the newsletter will at first be cyclostyled. but after about a year may be printed. It will be produced by the i Department of Internal Affairs youth activities officer (Mr L. J. Coughlan). “I think the idea is a very sound one.” said the chairman (Mr M. Thoms). The newsletter could help to increase membership of the council,' he said.
