Press Association > WELLINGTON, March 8 The United States had “certainly expressed their feelings strongly” about the French intention to test a nuclear device in the Pacific, the American Ambassador (Mr H. B Powell) said today. The test was very much disliked, particularly in view of the spirit of the time. “We are trying at Geneva right now to come up with a: treaty that will prevent this' sort of thing,” he said.
