New Games Deadline
(N.Z. Press Association AUCKLAND. The date on which athletic nominations for the Jamaican Empire Games were to have been made has been extended from March 31 to April 11, one of the two selectors, Mr C. J. Thompson, said yesterday. He said that the change had been made to allow athletes competing at the New Zealand Universities-Austra-llan Universities tournament at Dunedin during Easter week-end, the chance to record ranking performances.
