Case Of Food Poisoning
The Health Department is investigating a case of food poisoning included in the list of notifiable diseases reported in the Christchurch health district last week. The victim is a woman in the city area. There were also four cases of infective hepatitis last week, affecting a girl in the city area and two girls and a man in Waimairi County. A man in his fifties in the city area had pulmonary tuberculosis, and there were three cases of ophthalmia neonatorum and two of pemphigus neonatorum.
