Girl Dies Of Burns

(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, Mar. 7. A three-year-old girl died in the Wanganui Hospital tonight as the result of thirddegree burns suffered in a car fire at Raetihi on Saturday. She was: Tinamarie Kui, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs K. Kui, of Parapara road. Raetihi. Tina was on the back seat of the car when its upholstery caught fire while the vehicle was parked in Ward street. Two other children in the front seat escaped unhurt. Neighbours rescued all the children, but not before Tina was badly burned. She was rushed by ambulance to hospital for emergency treatment, and died there at 10 o’clock tonight
