12 SAILORS MISSING

Twelve American sailors were missing when visiting United States warships left Sydney today. They should have reported by 9 p.m. yesterday and a search was ordered for them.
i A United States Navy officer said Sydney had the highest desertion rate of any port 'visited >y American ships.
