Holy Hal Has Third Successive First
"The Press'* Special Service INVERCARGILL. Holy Hal kept his two-year-old record intact when he scored his third successive win in the New Zealand Kindergarten Stakes, the feature event on the first day of the Wyndham Trotting Club's autumn meeting at Invercargill on Saturday. The Ha-1 Tyrax colt appeared lucky to escape trouble in the early running but he was handily placed over the last mile. Holy Hal was required to race two and three wide for a good part of the journey. The Wyndham horseman, R M. Cameron, who recently returned from Australia and is to leave for America shortly, won both double legs, the johnny Globe Handicap with St. Nazaire and. the Transport Handicap with Prince Garry. The combination returned £45 9s fid for £l. The meeting was held in fine weather and on a firm but dead track. Results: EXPRESS HANDICAP, £300: 2:19 Clas's: Um.—4/4 TASMANIAN LADY <l3) It W. R.
