Flying Trix Scores In Cromwell Leg

ALEXANDRIA. The T.A.B. double, Flying Trix in the President's Handicap and Hazy Light in the Ted Jelley Memorial Handicap paid £l6 4s for £1 at the Cromwell Jockey Club's meeting on Saturday. The weather was fine, the track firm and there was a large attendance. Flying Trix (J. R. Dowling) had to survive an inquiry into interference to Glenmorven and Satiinette near the half furlong in the President's Handicap. The charge was dismissed. An objection was lodged against the third placing of Platform after the running of the Goodger Trot on the grounds of interference to Craiglea near the mile. The objection was sustained and Platform was disqualified from the race. The third placing went to Moonstorm, with Tahu fourth. M. J. Prendergast, the rider of Platform, was fined £lO.
