20 Riders For Trials
The New Zealand cycling seelctors < Messrs R. Dutton, W. T. Gamble and R. Sowry) have named a list of 20 cyc&ste who ; will be required in Auckland to compete in the final trials for Commonwealth Games selection on Apri-l 21, 22 and 23. The Kist does not include I some prominent riders, such a-s IT. J. Tabak (Canterbury), A. J. Ineson (Southland), and R. D. Thomson (Auckland). They d'id well at the national track championships but are apparently being considered only for the road team. The cyclists are: J. Beere, J. B. Bigwood (Auckland), G. A. Bing (West CoastNorth Island), D. L. and L. O. Booth (Southland), J. H. Cleary (Canterbury), F. Claris (Auckland). D A. Comparini (Wellington). J. A. Dean (West CoastNorth 2s>land), C. B.
