Paekakariki Moto-cross (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON The North Island beat the South Island by 283 points to 256 in a moto-cross at Queen Elizabeth Park. Paekakarki. yesterday. Manv of North's points came from the consistent riding of G Terry in the 250 cc class and H Anderson in the 500 cc class. A crowd of 2500 watched the racing on an extremely tough circuit. G. Stapleton. of Christchurch, made Terry work hard, and N. McElwain and R. Johnston were Anderson's greatest southern rivals. Results: 250cc.—Race one: G. Terry (North). Greeves, 1: G.
