Plan To Kill President

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PHILADELPHIA, March 6. A 27-year-old man who challenged the F. 8.1. to find him before he assassinated President Johnson, was tracked down, arrested and held on 50,000 dollars bail on Friday for a further hearing. Oswald Pick, of Clifton, New Jersey, was taken into custody aboard a Washingtonbound train. The F. 8.1. in Washington received a telephone call from New York at 5.45 a.m. from an anonymous caller who said he was going to Washington to kill the President. The caller challenged the F. 8.1. to find him.

Agents went aboard the train in New York, Newark and Philadelphia, scrutinised the passengers, and took Pick !into custody.
