THE SWIMMER OF THE YEAR.—Miss H. L. Kerr, the Auckland swimmer who was presented with the Baxter O’Neill Trophy during the national title meeting at Napier, in the course of her record-breaking swim of 1min 12.4sec for the women’s 110yd butterfly last Saturday morning. Miss Kerr won both butterfly titles and set new marks in each event.
