Group Flower Show
Seven institutes competed in the Springs Paparua group flower show held recently at Ladbrooks. About 1014 entries were recorded. The Buckley cup was won by the Springston institute and the Ladbrooks Institute was runner-up-Section winners were.—Cut flowers, Mrs M. McDonald (Springston South). Decorative, Mrs R. F. Pugh (Springston). Vegetables, Mrs F. M. Otten (Prebbleton). Cooking, Mrs E. Carter (Lincoln). Preserves, Mrs O. Hartley (Hornby). Handicrafts, Mrs T. Stone (Ladbrooks).
