The first leg is the Gore Gold Cup in which Golden Boa, a runaway winner on the first day, will start favourite. Warfare, a fresh runner at the meeting and a sprint winner at Riccarton during the week, looks her main rival. The weather has been fine and the track wdl'l be hard and fast.
