APPRENTICE FINED £1
The apprentice, R. K. Moir, was fined £1 for using unsound gear when an inquiry adjourned from the first day was resumed at Riccarton yesterday. The judicial committee warned Moir that a repetition of the offence would result in a much heavier fine. D. J. Thistoll, to whom Moir is apprenticed, was found guilty of allowing Moir to use faulty gear and was severely reprimanded.
