Troops At 200,000
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SAIGON, February 8 A United States spokesman revealed yesterday that the number of United States servicemen in Vietnam now tops the 200,000 mark--128,000 Army, 38,000 Marines, 25,000 Air Force and Navy, and 10,000 Coast Guard. This does not include the thousands of men in the Seventh Fleet carrier squadrons in the South China Sea.
