Killed On Jigger
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 8. A Railways Department serviceman was killed instantly when the motor jigger he was driving collided with a goods train just north of the Hoteo Railway Station near Kaipara Flats at 4.30 p.m. today. He was: James Watene, aged 43, married, of Hoteo.
