Royal Visit Ends

(N.Z.P.A. Reuter—Copyright) GEORGETOWN, Feb. 7.

The Queen and Prince Philip sailed before dawn for Trinidad yesterday after a two-day visit to British Guiana.

They completed the visit last night with a dinner aboard the Royal yacht Britannia.

Most observers in Georgetown felt that the Queen and the Duke had won over many East Indian supporters of the Opposition People’s Progressive Party which had called for a boycott of the two-day visit.

The boycott was only partially effective and crowds of both Indians and Negroes turned out to see the Royal couple.
