NEW SHIP LAUNCHED
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 6. A new cargo vessel for the Union Steam Ship Company has been launched at the Dundee yard of the Caledon Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Ltd. The vessel is the 4500-ton Ngapara, and was named by Mrs A. C. Crosbie, wife of Captain A. C. Crosbie, Chief Marine Superintendent for the company at present in Scotland supervising the completion of the Wahine, the Ngahere and the Ngapara.
