Wellington Hospital eye surgeons worked for an hour and three-quarters on Friday night on a five-year-old Porirua East girl whose eye lid was ripped open by a dog in Porirua East She is Annetta Johnston, an identical twin daughter of Mr and Mrs W. D. Johnston, of Champton street, Porirua East Her condition is now satisfactory. Mrs Johnston said there was possibility of permanent scarring. A tew duct was damaged and Annetta would have a dnan tube in her eye for several days. Mrs Jqbnaton said children around the tethered dog might have been teasing it
