Mr T. G. Maxwell, of Motunau, has been elected North Canterbury representative on the board of the Primary Producers’ Co-operative Society, Ltd. Mr D. M. Bruce, of Ashburton, has been reelected Mid-Canterbury representative. Mr’A. N. Palmer has been appointed publicity and advertising manager of the New Zealand Railways Department. Mr Palmer, who was formerly assistant publicity manager, will succeed Mr A. T. Fussell, who wiir retire on Friday after 40 years’ service.— (P.A.)
