THE NEW OIL TANKER SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL undergoing trials in the North Sea recently. Built by Swan Hunter and Wigram Richardson, Ltd., for the Norwegian shipowner, Hilmar Reksten, she is the largest ship to come from the Tyne. The tanker’s deadweight tonnage is 90,000 tons.
