Keino’s Times Approved

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON

Three New Zealand records have been approved by the New Zealand Amateur Athletics Association.

They are Kipchoge Keino’s 5000 metres of 13min 24.25ec and three miles of 12min 58.4 sec, set in Auckland on November 30.

R. Maddaford, of Auckland, also had his national junior two-mile record of Bmin 53.45ec set on the same date approved.
