New Lions Club
A new Lions Club, the Christchurch South club, was inaugurated on Thursday evening. It was sponsored by the Christchurch City Lions Club.
Officers elected were:—President, Mr A. C. Rudkin; vicepresidents, Mr C. D. Scott, Dr. A. M. Goldstein, Mr P. Pelts; secretary, Mr J. Vryenhoek; treasurer, Mr M. Tipping; board, Messrs A. H. T. Rose and A. M. Palmer. Dr. H. G. Crofts, Messrs V. A. Wiseman, G. J. Inglis, and P. H. Nye.
