Annual Surf Carnival
North Beach defeated Tahunanui (Nelson) by 65 points to 60 in the annual carnival between the two surf clubs at Christchurch. Nelson won the pool events, scoring 33 points to IS. but North Beach won the water polo, 6-4. and the surf events. Results:
