Lordship Troubled By Splints Again

DUNEDIN.
Lordship was still very sore yesterday morning, but he was much better than when he failed at For bury Park on Wednesday night. His trainer, D. G. Nyhan, said yesterday that a needle splint had developed behind a front knee.
Treatinent of the splint has already started and Lordship Will continue to be jogged in the hope that a cure can be effected before the Easter meeting at Addington Raceway in April. Landlord was a very distressed horse after he
finished third in the Royal Handicap on Wednesday night. Landlord’s owner-trainer, G. R. Hore, left him at Forbury Park and his injured front leg was X-rayed yesterday morning. If he does race again he will require a lengthy spell. Robyn had her last race start in the Royal Handicap. She has been returned to her Lawrence owner, Mr P. McLaughlin, who paid 1220 guineas for her 12 months ago. Robyn will foal to the Light Brigade horse. Local Light.
