(New Zealand Preu Asjociationi WELLINGTON, Feb. 3. The Australian Opposition Leader (Mr Calwell), has urged the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) to visit Canberra before the end of the year.

Interviewed after an hour-long meeting with the Prime Minister this afternoon, Mr Calwell said: “We favour frequent visits between New Zealand and Australian parliamentarians.' 1

Mr Calwell said he had urged Mr Holyoake to visit the Australian capital this year.

Earlier today, Mr Calwell met the Deputy Leader of the

Opposition (Mr H. Watt) for talks.

Mr Calwell and a party of three Australian Parliamentarians, which includes the chairman of the Labour Party's Foreign Affairs Committee (Mr A. D. Fraser) left New Zealand aboard the Orcades today. Mr Calwell was to have held talks with the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk I and address a Labour caucus yesterday morning. Mr Kirk was stranded in the Chatham Islands by bad weather and the caucus was postponed.
