Leading Role

NEW YORK, Feb. 2.
The British-born actress, Julie Andrews, has been signed for a leading role in the forthcoming production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” Universal Pictures announced.
The film, a comedy of the roaring twenties, written by Richard Morris, will be produced by Ross Hunter. Also in the cast will be a British actor, James Fox.
