Quads Put On Weight

The Rawson quadruplets are gaining more than an ounce in weight a day, according to the latest report from the National Women’s Hospital received by the quads’ parents, Mr and Mrs H. D. Rawson, of Nelson. In their first month the quads each put on about lib in weight, but in the last fortnight they have ail increased by about Iflb. Anne is heaviest at 51b lOoz, and Peter lightest at 51b 4oz. No date has been released yet for their homecoming to Nelson.
The Rawson family solicitor said today the Government had agreed to provide assistance toward the cost of employing Karitane nurses to help care for the babies.
Re-elected.—Mrs W. D. M. Jamieson was re-elected president of the National Party Garden Circle at a recent annual meeting. Mrs A. M. Vile, a Dominion executive member, presided. New members were welcomed.
