AUCKLAND, Feb. 2.
A man who claimed that he had been chasing the real burglars when he was found on the premises of the Auckland Television House at Panmure on October 2 was acquitted of a charge of burglary by a jury today. He is Phillip Robert Anderson, aged 32, a company manager, represented by Mr P. A. Williams.
He was also acquitted of an alternative charge of unlawful entry into the building. The trial was before Mr Justice Gresson. 1
