Partners Off Courts, Too

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Two of the overseas players competing in Auckland’s international tennis tournament, the 27-year-old Chilean Patricio Rodriguez and 22-year-old French Miss Michele Boulle arrived from Sydney after the other visitors because they had stayed to marry. They met two years ago during the French championships and on the world circuit they have paired in combined doubles. They married in Sydney because it was the only place on their tennis itinerary where they stayed long enough to comply with residence requirements. Michele said she intended playing tennis with Patricio “for a little while.” They will live in Santiago, Chile, Patricio’s home town.
