ROAD TOLL NOW 34

WELLINGTON, Feb. 2.
Up to 5 p.m. today 34 road deaths have been reported to the Transport Department this year. At this time last year 43 had been reported. The toll for February so far is nil.
At the same time last February none had died. Mrs Gladys Elma Olsson, aged 70, of Ramarama, died yesterday in Middlemore Hospital from injuries suffered in a motor accident at Ramarama on January 21.
