Gurnsey Two Lives In Men’s Croquet Title
F. W. Gurnsey retained both lives In the men's championship after yesterday’s play in the South Island croquet championship. He will! meet Lieuten-ant-Colonel A. E. Saailfeid in the final of the second life and J. McNab in a semi-final of the first life.
Yesterday Gurnsey defeated T. A. SearelU In the quarter-finals of the open championship, winning the rubber in two straight games.
Mrs E. Todd struck good form and defeated McNab by winning two games in succession after McNab had won the first.
