Canterbury.—North-westerlies, strong in exposed places; fine and warm, apart from rain in the Alps. Outlook: Similar.

Nelson.—Westerly winds, strong in exposed places; partly cloudy, and mild except for showers in the western ranges. Outlook: Mainly fine.
