Driving In Lanes
Sir, —Lane driving, advocated in your editorial, and the provision of more of the available street parking, would solve many of our traffic problems. Professor Buchanan criticised the reluctance of local motorists to drive in lanes. This cause of congestion could be overcome, if the traffic authorities followed up their excellent instruction leaflet on city lane driving with one on urban and country driving on unmarked lanes.—Yours, etc., SETH NEWELL. February 2, 1966.
