Fire Confined To Top Floor

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Jan. 16. More than 30 guests were evacuated from a Dunedin boarding house early yesterday morning when fire partially destroyed the top storey of the building. The fire quickly gained a hold on the top storey. When the fire brigade arrived smoke and flames were billowing from the windows. A group of youths momentarily trapped on the roof, eventually found their way to the ground by a fire escape. The fire was brought under control by 7.30 a.m. No-one was injured.
