Miskimmin Excels At Croquet Tourney
(New Zealand Press Association) TIMARU. In one of the best games of the tournament, K. Miskimmin (Christchurch) played two splendid breaks, scoring eight in the first and a complete round in the second, when the New Zealand junior croquet championship continued at Timaru yesterday.
In the long peg out, his first ball missed. The second ran on the peg. Next turn, by hitting in a long shot, he won the game against Mrs N. Smith (Christchurch) by 26 to two. Light rain benefited the lawns. Results.— Championship singles.
